What time does Rib-Fest start?  Rib-Fest begins at 10:00am

Admission fee?  There is no admission fee; however, there is a $5 (CASH ONLY) per car parking fee.  Parking is at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds, Enter at GATE 5.  Handicap parking is behind the GreenCycle McCarty Arena.  You must enter at GATE 5 with valid handicap sticker or plate.  

How much are tickets?  $1 per ticket/1 Ticket = $1. Sheet of 5 tickets = $5.  $5 per ticket/1 Ticket = $5.  Sheet of 5 tickets = $25.  VENDORS DO NOT ACCEPT CASH, SO FOOD TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ORDER TO BUY FOOD FROM VENDORS!   DRINKS AND ALCOHOL MUST BE PURCHASED WITH FOOD TICKETS AS WELL.  ** NO REFUNDS! Are credit cards accepted at Rib-Fest? Food tickets can be purchased with credit/debit cards but parking admission ($5) must be cash.  Your friendly beer tent bartenders appreciate cash as well.

Why do we have to use tickets to purchase food at Rib-Fest?  Ease, safety and tracking.  Tickets are easy for the vendors to collect - one payment method, easy county.  For a large scale event, it is safer to monitor currency in fewer places.  By using tickets, event organizers and food vendors are able to confidently measure the success of the event.

Where do I buy tickets?   We will be selling advance food tickets at the Avon Chamber of Commerce office at 8244 E. US Hwy 36, Suite #140 in Avon and at the Plainfield Farmer's Market on Wednesday, June 22nd. Tickets will be sold at (3) Tickets Tents at the event.  ** NO REFUNDS! ALL TICKET SALES FOR RIB-FEST ARE FINAL! **

Should I bring cash?  YES!  The $5 parking fee is paid in cash ONLY and your friendly beer tent bartenders appreciate your generous tips!

How late do you sell food tickets?  We will stop selling food tickets at 9:00pm. Tickets purchased are non-refundable.  Food tickets can be saved for next year’s event!

Will there be alcohol at the event?  Yes!  Alcohol must be purchased with food tickets.  You must be 21 & older and show a valid photo ID.  Wristbands must be worn at all times while drinking alcohol.  Outside alcohol is prohibited.  Tipping is encouraged by cash, food tickets or Venmo.  

Are coolers allowed at Rib-Fest?  No.  Coolers are prohibited.  

Can I bring my dog to Rib-Fest?  We will be having fireworks so for the safety and happiness of our furry friends, and for venue cleanliness, please leave your pets comfortably at home.

Can I bring my golf cart?  No personal golf carts are allowed due to liability.

Are there kids activities?  Cost for kids activities?   We will have inflatables, activities and petting zoo for kids. There are no costs involved with these activities.

What is the entertainment this year?

What time does the Balloon Glow start?  The Balloon Glow starts around 8:45pm although times may vary.  There will not be any tethered rides this year.  

What time do the fireworks begin?  Fireworks begin at dark. 

Can I bring lawn chairs and/or blankets for the fireworks?  YES!  We want you to enjoy the fireworks.
