What is a 401(k) program?

It’s a group 401(k) solution that organizations can offer to members like you, to join—typically at a group rate. Ribbon cuttings are a great way to get your business in the spotlight!  As an exclusive benefit of being a member of the Avon Chamber of Commerce, you are eligible to schedule a ribbon cutting. They aren't just for new businesses, either! There are many occasions when it is appropriate to schedule a ribbon cutting:

• New Business
• New Chamber Member
• Milestone Anniversaries
• New Locations
• Remodeling and/or Expansion
• New Ownership

To help begin the planning process, we typically schedule ribbon cuttings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays of each month at 10am  We try to schedule 30 days in advance however we are flexible with scheduling. 

The Avon Chamber will invite our Chamber Board Members, Ambassadors, our community leaders and local media to support the event by attending.  Consider inviting your customers, neighboring businesses, suppliers, prospects, personal friends and family.

The Chamber will bring red ribbon and large ceremony scissors. A Chamber Staff member will take photos and videos of the event to post on social media along with tagging your business. 

Promotional Ideas:

• You are encouraged to create your own in-store flyer/announcement, promote the event on social media to drive attendance. 
• Send an email campaign to clients/customers; offer business card drawings and have collateral materials (brochures, flyers, etc) available in various locations during the event.  

We encourage you to arrange for food, beverages, even decorations! This is a celebration, after all! While the Chamber does not provide these services, we would be happy to refer to other Chamber Members who do.
